Lombok is becoming a world renowned destination amongst surf enthusiasts. Huge waves and challenging surf lure die-hards to Bangko-Bangko (also known as Desert Point) on the southwestern tip of Lombok. Bangko-Bangko is home to the indigenous Sasak people, who hold on tightly to their tradition of creating handwoven intricately patterned textiles.

The Bangko-Bangko’s mahogany headstock imitates these traditional patterns while the solid Cedar top is adorned with a handmade inlay rosette. The body’s back and sides are solid mahogany and coated with a fine matte finish.
